Business Development Specialist–(BCBD-03)

MEA is looking for a Business Development Specialist to promote its forensic engineering consulting services in Richmond and the greater Vancouver market.  In this role you will work closely with engineers to grow relationships with existing and potential clients and implement business development campaigns and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, organized dedicated to networking and have a strong attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities:

• Arrange and participate in presentations and meetings with current and new clients. Success in this aspect of the job depends on your ability to foster great relationships.
  
• Coordinate seminars, trade show activities and company promotional events
  
• Conduct market analysis to develop marketing initiatives and to uncover new opportunities
  
• Coordinate publication of trade journal articles, promotional materials and ad submissions
  
• Coordinate all staff events
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Marketing certificate/diploma/degree and a minimum of 2 years marketing experience
• Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to balance multiple priorities
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Experience in the legal or insurance industry an asset
• Maximizer, Illustrator and/or Photoshop experience an asset
• Citizenship, permanent residence or appropriate work permit for Canada
