We seek an experienced Civil/Transportation Engineer to analyze legal cases related to the design, construction, maintenance and use of transportation facilities including roads, parking lots, traffic signals, bikeways and walkways.  The position is based in our Laguna Hills, California office.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 3-5+ years engineering experience in transportation facility design, planning, and operations
• Registered Professional Engineer in Civil and/or Traffic Engineering
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• working knowledge of Caltrans, AAHSTO, and MUTCD standards
• municipal experience as an employee or consultant within California
• traffic engineering, roadway design and safety knowledge
• strong oral and written English language skills
• an ability to clearly and concisely explain complex issues
• high ethical and technical standards
