Alyssa DeMarco, Dennis Chimich, Gunter Siegmund and John Gardiner’s article The Impact Response of Motorcycle Helmets at Different Impact Severities” is published in Accident Analysis and Prevention journal, Volume 42, Number 6, Pages 1778-84.

Brian Mac Giolla Ri receives his Ontario Professional Engineer designation.

Xaine Bhatia joins our team as our Business Development Specialist for Ontario.  Xaine has over 13 years experience in business development, project management, and communication, in addition to a Masters degree from the University of Toronto.

California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Major Accident Investigation Teams (MAIT) and several other law enforcement members joined our Laguna Hills office for training and crash testing.  These multiple crash tests focused on bicycle impacts with motor vehicles. 

MEA staff members attend the Orange County Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) August Meeting.  Brian Mercer from Integro Insurance Brokers spoke on the “Total Cost of Risk: The Missing Link”.
