Senior Engineer - Failure Analyst (ONME-03)

We seek a Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineer to analyze failures related to the design, manufacture, maintenance and use of products, machinery and heavy equipment. The position will be based in our Toronto, Ontario office.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 7+ years engineering experience in product design, manufacturing or failure analysis
  
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
  
• A keen interest in solving difficult failure analysis problems
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude
  
• Strong oral and written English language skills
  
• An ability to clearly and concisely explain complex issues in lay language
• High ethical and technical standards
  
• Prior forensic experience an asset, but not required
• Citizenship, permanent residence or appropriate work permit for Canada

The successful candidate will have (or be eligible for) PEng designation in Ontario. Individuals with less work experience but outstanding academic performance will also be considered.
