Junior Forensic Collision Reconstruction Engineer/Human Factors Specialist (BCCR-02)
MEA Forensic is seeking a Junior Engineer/Human Factors Specialist for our Vancouver, BC office. If you enjoy cracking tough technical problems while working against strict deadlines, if you thrive on hard work and are motivated by your own high ethical and technical standards, we may have a match.
We are seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering who has gone on to Graduate work in Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, or Industrial Engineering. This is a unique skill set for a unique position involving reconstruction of motor vehicle collisions with a focus on driver performance issues such as hazard detection and response.
You must have superior academic performance, exceptional abilities in written and oral English presentation, and have or be eligible for your PEng or EIT.
Specific requirements and qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics
- Graduate degree in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology
- Licensed PEng or able to obtain PEng or EIT designation in British Columbia
- Experience within the transportation field would be an asset
