Pam and Jahvanna attend OTLA-CDL Joint Program

The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers present Heads or Tails: Two Sides of the Same Coin, their first joint educational program, on Wednesday March 1st, 2023. MEA Forensic is proud to support both organizations. Attendees will find MEA Forensic’s Pamela D’Addario and Jahvanna Ryan on the exhibit floor all day.

This joint OTLA – CDL personal injury conference for members only is chaired by Philippa Samworth of Dutton Brock LLP and Andrew Murray of Lerners LLP. Among other topics, speakers from both sides of the industry will present on Accident Benefit and Tort cases, how to get stalled claims moving, the admissibility of SPECT scan, and our favorite subject of all, the use of experts in Court and at the Tribunal. The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) is a non-profit association for plaintiff lawyers and staff of Ontario, Canada. It was formed in 1991 and is currently over 1500 members strong. They aim to champion and advocate for the rights of those who have suffered injury and loss through the wrongdoing of others.

Canadian Defence Lawyer (CDL) is a non-profit organization founded in 1995, which now has over 1400 members from coast to coast. It wants to be a voice and a resource for civil defence lawyers providing a national perspective, quality defence-specific education and networking opportunities.
