Dwayne and Dave at OCTLA’s Judges & Mediators Review

On February 26, the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) hosted its first 2026 CLE Dinner, Judges & Mediators Review, at The Park Club in Costa Mesa, California. MEA Forensic engineers Dwayne Toscano and David King were pleased to attend and connect with both new and long-standing clients in the plaintiffs’ bar.

The program featured Thomas Feher of Feher Law, Megan Demshki of Aitken Aitken Cohn, and Eric Traut of Traut Injury Law. The discussion addressed key considerations for litigators, including which judges to challenge and why, who are regarded as the most effective mediators, and which arbitrators are considered the fairest in practice. The presenters offered straightforward insight into their experience with local mediators and arbitrators, along with strategic perspectives on courtroom dynamics throughout the region.

The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) is a non-profit corporation that protects the rights of people who have been harmed by the wrongful acts of others. They provide education and training for attorneys; access to the collective resources, knowledge, and experience of the members of the Association; and promotion and support of laws that correct injustice and protect access to the civil justice system.
