On February 2, 2023, Dennis Chimich presents “Injury Biomechanics in Relation to Motor Vehicle Accidents”, an educational session hosted by the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.
The focus of his talk will be the use of injury biomechanics in personal injury cases, specifically in motor vehicle collisions. He will explore issues of injury causation and seatbelt effectiveness, and touch on the effect of male/female differences in size, body composition, and seatbelt fit on injury outcomes.
