Gunter Siegmund was invited to present the Bertil Aldman Memorial Lecture at the 2018 Annual Conference for the International Research Council on the Biomechanics of Injury (IRCOBI) in Athens, Greece.
Established in 1993, this lecture commemorates Prof. Bertil Aldman, a founding member of IRCOBI, its first President for almost 20 years, and a contributor to the development of, among other things, seat belts, rear-facing child seats and airbags. In selecting Dr. Siegmund, the IRCOBI Council noted his strong research contributions over the years in the area of soft-tissue neck injury. MEA Forensic is proud of the work that Dr. Siegmund has done, and continues to do in the field of injury biomechanics.
