Pamela D’Addario is a senior engineer and leads MEA Forensic’s Human Factors group. With a background in mechanical engineering and human factors, Pam combines her understanding of car crash dynamics and driver behavior when answering questions about collision severity, vehicle speed, avoidance potential, nighttime visibility, and driver response times.

Dr. Joel Cooper is a human factors scientist and holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Utah. He has authored nearly 100 scientific publications in the fields of human factors and transportation. Joel has studied attention management in automated vehicles, and developed widely adopted tools for measuring visual and cognitive demands on drivers.

Kurt Ising is a senior engineer and investigates motor vehicle accidents and driver performance issues. He has developed a method for measuring light levels at accident locations to objectively assesses drivers' visual performance. He has published peer-reviewed research on nighttime visibility, perception-response time and the effects of driver distraction.
