Most people involved in automotive litigation have heard of “black boxes” associated with crashes. In this webinar, we will go beyond common sources of data to dive into other, often-overlooked sources of electronic evidence.

Craig Wilkinson has investigated a wide variety of issues in over 2,500 collisions involving commercial vehicles, passenger cars, bicycles, motorcycles, pedestrians, and golf carts. Craig is also involved in MEA’s research and studies the reliability and accuracy of “black box” data. Craig is regularly asked to present the result of his analysis in court as an expert witness.

Dr. Russell Gish specializes in crashworthiness and collision reconstruction. As a safety engineer at GM, he developed designs for front, side, and rear crash performance, and his PhD work focused on analyzing crash forces. At MEA Forensic, Russell has continued to develop analysis techniques and has published on how to use an established engineering method, called finite element analysis, in the field of collision reconstruction.

Brad Heinrichs has investigated thousands of crashes involving passenger and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and animals. Brad’s engineering physics background gives him the tools needed to analyze traditional evidence, like vehicle damage and tire marks on the road, and keep up with new developments, like simulation software, black box data downloads, and video analysis.
