Dr. Dennis Turriff is a senior engineer, and leads MEA Forensic’s Failure Analysis group in Toronto. His background in both materials science and mechanical engineering help him isolate the root cause of failure in a wide variety of incidents involving vehicles, industrial equipment, consumer products, plumbing, fire protection systems and medical devices. Dennis is registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario and is a certified fire and explosion investigator.

Dr. Russell Gish joined MEA Forensic after working as a safety engineer at General Motors for 15 years. He has developed designs for front, side, and rear crash performance involving structure, bumper systems and suspension. He used computer modeling and laboratory crash testing to develop and validate designs. At MEA Forensic, Russell specializes in crashworthiness, crash performance and crash reconstruction.

Mr. Brad Heinrichs leads the Collision Reconstruction group in MEA's Vancouver office. Brad has investigated thousands of crashes involving passenger and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and animals. In addition to determining how cars move and interact during a crash, he has analyzed a variety of specific issues such as speed, collision severity, seat belt use, and avoidance opportunities.
