On April 30th, MEA Forensic exhibits at the 33rd Annual Joint Insurance Seminar, a flagship event the Hamilton chapter of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA) prepares in conjunction with the Hamilton Law Association (HLA). Ben Elkin is attending with Chelsea Crealock, our Toronto office’s brand new Client Relations Manager.
The topics vary, from insurance in the #metoo movement era to social media and investigation, with speakers from insurers, defense counsel, plaintiff counsel, and experts. It is an educational day with a diverse perspective on a variety of insurance related topics.
The HLA is one of the oldest county and district law associations in Ontario. It was created by the hard work and inspiration of Britton Bath Osler with the purpose to support a law library in the Court House and in the general interests of the profession. Today, the HLA strives to enable its members to become successful, respected and fulfilled in their profession.
The OIAA is a non-profit association founded in 1930; through the decades its members have worked together to question, shape, change and develop claims adjustment and risk management services in Ontario.
