From the Toronto office, Debbie Vazirali supports the engineers in the Collision Reconstruction, Failure Analysis, and Injury Biomechanics groups. As the first point of contact for MEA Forensic’s clients, Debbie connects them with the right expert for their case, and keeps close tabs on the progress of all active files. She strives to make the exchange of information and documents effortless between the two parties.
“If we need material from a client, I’ll send them a reminder and a secure download link; if we need to provide an update, I will schedule a call. Our experts and clients are busy, and my role is to help them get more done by removing any administration steps I can from their workload.”
Debbie locates and acquires documents, materials and exemplars, and ensures everything is properly stored and archived. She also reads reports. “I bring what you could call a laywoman’s perspective on our experts’ reports, she explains. At trial, people from a diversity of backgrounds will read them, so it’s important for us that they can be understood by non-engineers.”
