Mark Bailey presents a live webinar on Working with expert witnesses on product liability cases to members of the British Columbia Paralegal Association on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020. This will be the third professional development course offered this year by the BCPA’s Professional Development Committee to its membership. We are thankful for the opportunity to take part in this educational program for the paralegals of British Columbia.
Mark leads MEA Forensic’s Failure Analysis group, which investigates transportation defects, industrial, commercial and residential losses and consumer product failures. His presentation will focus on product liability cases, and will cover the following:

- Useful information for the expert
- Evidence preservation and examination
- Codes and standards
- Warnings and guards
- Tips for working with experts
- Examples of consumer products that led to personal injuries
- Examples of industrial products that led to property losses.
