The Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA)’s 2025 Claims Conference is held on April 2nd at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. MEA is proud to sponsor the event every year, and this year’s attendees can connect with MEA’s experts Dennis Turriff, Chris Tranquada, Tom Flynn and Jahvanna Ryan at our booth #311.
This year’s program features 13 seminars presented by lawyers, adjusters, investigators and experts on varying topics, from emerging trends, cyber investigation and AI to leadership skills and challenges in the labour market. Ian Gold and Adam Bucci of Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP will present a Tort Update: A Year in Review, selecting their top 10 insurance cases of the last 12 months to discuss important developments in the case law on a wide variety of issues relevant to the insurance industry. The schedule and details on each presentation are found on the OIAA’s website.
The Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association (OIAA) is a non-profit association founded in 1930; through the decades its members have worked together to question, shape, change and develop claims adjustment and risk management services in Ontario. Among other events, the OIAA hosts a yearly Claims Conference providing education, enrichment and networking opportunities to all its members.
