Dave, Gabrielle and Cole at 2025 ASCDC Seminar

The Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) will host its 2025 Annual Seminar on March 27–28 at the JW Marriott L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Dave King, Gabrielle Booth, and Cole Young will be at exhibit table #7 in the Platinum Foyer throughout the event.

Now in its 64th year, the ASCDC Annual Seminar is expected to draw over 500 attorneys, claims professionals, judges, and industry representatives. The two-day event brings together members at all stages of their careers to explore the evolving legal landscape and gain insights into emerging practices, technologies, and strategies from leading experts.

The seminar features three parallel tracks—Trial, Hot Topic, and New Lawyer—with presentations on current issues in civil litigation, including trial strategy, insurance defense, and expert witness testimony. The event will conclude with a keynote address from Dave Roberts, Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

More information, including the full program, is available in the ASCDC Seminar Brochure.

The Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC) was organized in 1960 by a small group of Los Angeles defense attorneys who felt it was essential for their professional interest to be independently represented. The ASCDC has since grown to become the nation’s preeminent regional defense organization. It now encompasses a diverse group of lawyers who practice from north of Santa Barbara to the Mexican border and from the desert of the inland empire to the shores of Santa Monica. Its members share ideas on the listserve, during MCLE programs, and through Verdict magazine. It draws on the leadership skills of defense attorneys who head up committees that author amicus briefs, organize bench-bar functions, promote diversity and charitable endeavors, and much more.
