Our Toronto Technician, Cassandra Chase, was invited to speak at the 2025 Recon-3D User Group meeting, which was held virtually on February 25th.
Before joining MEA Forensic, Cassandra conducted research at a Canadian company specializing in forensic mapping, analysis, and 3D reconstructions, where she focused on utilizing the Recon-3D app to document bullet trajectory at accident scenes. She was invited to present an overview of the strengths and limitations of Recon-3D and two other advanced scanning tools used at MEA Forensic, the FARO Focus S350 and Artec LEO, when it comes to scanning recreational vehicles with complex shapes and shadows, such as ATVs and snowmobiles.
Cassandra plays a key role in helping our engineers and scientists leverage the most effective tools for precise documentation and analysis in each specific case.
