The Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia hosts its 2026 Convention on May 7–8 at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver. MEA Forensic is proud to support the second edition of this two-day educational event, which brings together lawyers from a wide range of practice areas. Our team looks forward to connecting with attendees throughout the Convention. Chaired by Keri Grenier of Murphy Battista LLP, Dan Parlow of Kornfeld LLP, and Candace Cho of Onyx Law Group, the 2026 program features plenary sessions, keynote presentations, and three concurrent tracks of small group sessions: Technology and Media, Trial and Advocacy, and Hot Topics in Law. Attendees will hear from a variety of speakers on timely and practical issues including the use of artificial intelligence and litigation software, digital evidence, forensic DNA analysis, and trauma-informed legal practice. The program also addresses core advocacy skills such as cross-examination, dispute resolution strategies, and the effective use of expert evidence in litigation, including practical guidance on developing expert opinions and preparing for cross-examination. On Thursday evening, TLABC will host its fourth annual Spring Soirée and presentation of the Awards of Distinction, where Dennis Chimich will be in attendance for the evening’s reception and networking events.
