Tom Flynn, MSc PEng

Mr. Thomas Flynn is a member of MEA Forensic’s Collision Reconstruction group in Toronto. Collision severity, occupant movement, seat belt use and effectiveness, vehicle speed, pre-collision dynamics, and causes of mechanical failure are typical areas of focus for him. His background in engineering, mathematics, and modeling help him interpret traditional crash evidence like vehicle damage and tire marks on the road; he is also involved in MEA's research into new kinds of digital evidence recovered from black boxes and video recorders. |

Cole Young, MS PE

A member of MEA Forensic’s Collision Reconstruction group in Los Angeles, Cole has learned how to extract a wealth of information from security camera, dashcam, and cell phone video. He has also developed methods to determine the precise position of evidence at an accident scene from photographs and 2D images. |

Bradley Heinrichs, MSc PEng

Mr. Brad Heinrichs leads the Collision Reconstruction group in MEA's Vancouver office. Brad has investigated thousands of crashes involving passenger and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and animals. In addition to determining how cars move and interact during a crash, he has analyzed a variety of specific issues such as speed, collision severity, seat belt use, and avoidance opportunities. |
