The Canadian Defence Lawyers (CDL) hosts its 7th Women’s Caucus Annual Luncheon on June 4, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Military Institute in Toronto. Jahvanna Ryan joins in this conversation focused on issues facing women in the Law.
This year’s luncheon marks the conclusion of Three Decades of CDL – Three Events Over Three Days, a special 30th anniversary celebration for the Defence association. The festivities began June 2 with the Annual President’s Dinner and Awards, and culminate with this final event.
Moderated by Heather Vaughan of Benson Percival Brown LLP, the luncheon features keynote speaker Fotini Iconomopoulos presenting Negotiating Power: Skills for Litigation and Beyond, followed by a moderated Q&A, addressing how negotiation principles support litigation practice, career development, and leadership.
