The Canadian Defence Lawyers organization is hosting an In-House Symposium in Scarborough, Ontario on October 16th. MEA Forensic is happy to sponsor the first edition of this new annual CLE event designed by and for in-house counsel. Craig will be on-site to connect.
Members of the CDL in-house steering committee have designed a program of Education and Professional Development to specifically benefit in-house lawyers. The program touches multiple aspects of the profession: practical skills, expectations, technology, inclusivity and self-care, among other things. The full program is available on the CDL website; however, the event is restricted to CDL’s in-house counsel members. It is held in the BMO Institute for Learning, 3550 Pharmacy Ave, Scarborough.
Canadian Defence Lawyer (CDL) is a non-profit organization founded in 1995, that now has over 1400 members from coast to coast to coast. It wants to be a voice and a resource for civil defence lawyers providing a national perspective, quality defence-specific education and networking opportunities. Its focus is to address issues of importance to members and to the broader defence community of claims adjusters, claims managers, risk managers and subject experts.
