The Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association presents a webinar on minor injury regulations on November 16th 2020, in association with the Access to Justice Committee. MEA Forensic is sponsoring this session for ACTLA’s plaintiff members. 

The webinar features speakers Shelagh McGregor of Weir Bowen, Owen Lewis of KMSC Law LLP, Mark Feehan of Feehan Law Office, former MLA Jonathan Denis Q.C., now with Guardian Law, and PR Consultant Keith McLaughlin, of New West Public Affairs.

The Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association (ACTLA) was founded in the Spring of 1986 as a non-profit society dedicated to the objectives of advancing the science of Jurisprudence, training in all fields and phases of Advocacy, upholding the honour and dignity of the profession of Law, encouraging brotherhood and sisterhood among the members of the bar, upholding and improving the adversary system and trial by jury, and promoting the administration of justice and the public good. Its mission is to advocate for a strong civil justice system that protects the rights of all Albertans.

The Access to Justice Committee (A2J) identifies and supports non-operational activities and oversees ACTLA’s involvement in projects relating to the legal community, legislative issues and matters affecting the rights and /or safety of consumers.
