The Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia has been hosting a Women Lawyers Retreat annually for the last 15 years. 2020 will be no exception as the women lawyers of BC are invited to a virtual retreat on October 16-17 – an annual tradition in a new format. MEA Forensic is glad to sponsor this professional development retreat focused on resilience.
TLABC planned an interactive event with inspiring speakers, mentorship workshop, networking opportunities and a Mystery Treasure Box. The virtual gathering will be chaired by Raj Dewar of Murphy Battista LLP and Amy Mortimore of Clark Wilson LLP. Madam Justice Wendya A Baker of the Supreme Court of BC, will give the first presentation on the good, the bad and the ugly of COVID advocacy. The next day, attendees are gathering around the themes of resiliency and strength in adversity with presentations and workshops. Details about the event are available on the TLABC website.
