OTLA Fall Conference: MEA exhibits

OTLA Fall conference

The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association’s 2019 Fall Conference is held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on October 25, 2019. Ben Elkin and Ken Iliadis are MEA’s delegation to this annual CPD event.

Daniel Hinkle, Senior State Affairs Counsel for the American Association for Justice, will deliver this year’s OTLA Fall Conference keynote speech: “Changing landscape with autonomous vehicles”. Participants can also benefit from presentations about medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, simplified procedure, intentional torts and vulnerable road users. The program includes an “Ask the Pros” track where attendees are invited to spend some valuable one-on-one time with more experienced OTLA members and share about difficult clients, cases, opposing counsel, etc. The OTLA also created a track for law clerks, as well as plenary sessions.

The 2019 OTLA Fall Conference program can be downloaded here. The OTLA has been approved as an Accredited Provider of Professionalism Content by the Law Society of Ontario.

Guests who leave a presentation with burning questions they would like to ask an investigation expert on MVA or non-MVA cases, personal injury cases, etc. will be glad to find our biomechanical engineer and senior scientist on the exhibit floor, room 106.
