Pam and Jahvanna at 2025 Tricks of the Trade

MEA Forensic’s Pamela D’Addario and Jahvanna Ryan attend Tricks of the Trade, The Advocate’s Society’s annual conference for Ontario’s personal injury bar, on Friday, January 31, 2025. Held at the iconic Arcadian Court in Toronto, this event gathers top legal professionals, including plaintiff and defence counsel, to discuss the latest trends and challenges in personal injury litigation.

Now in its third decade, Tricks of the Trade continues to address current challenges for both plaintiff and defence counsel. This year’s program is chaired by Lisa Belcourt of Ferguson Deacon Taws LLP, Brenda Hollingsworth of Auger Hollingsworth Professional Corporation, Sudevi Mukherjee-Gothi of Pallett Valo LLP, and Brian Sunohara of Rogers Partners LLP. The program features a keynote address by the Hon. Justice Darla Wilson of the Court of Appeal. Esteemed faculty from the Bench and Bar will share updates on recent decisions, advocacy tips, and practical guidance for personal injury practitioners.

As experts ourselves, we’re especially excited for Daniela M. Pacheco’s (Neinstein LLP) session titled “Expert Evidence Update.” If you have questions about using expert evidence, visit Pamela and Jahvanna at our big red booth throughout the day, as this is one of their favourite conversation topics.
