Andrea Wadsworth

Andrea Wadsworth investigates car, bus and motorcycle accidents as part of the Collision Reconstruction group in Toronto. She is involved in all aspects of engineering work, from 3D scanning crash scenes to downloading electronic data from cars and building computer simulations of collisions.

In addition to her Engineering degree from Queen’s University, Andrea brings experience in aviation regulation to her work at MEA. As part of the aircraft certification unit of New Zealand’s aviation regulator, she ensured manufacturers and designers met certification requirements. In her words: “We made sure that anything installed in an aircraft was installed properly, wouldn’t cause an accident and, if an accident were to happen, that the new feature wouldn’t make the accident worse, for example by catching on fire or detaching and causing injury.”
